What is a Squeeze Page?

A squeeze page is a page designed to capture contact information from the visitor. This is probably the most often overlooked type of page. Service businesses and individual professionals often have nothing to sell directly on the internet, what they want are hot ready to buy leads to call on. If this is your business, you need to send every AdWords visitor to a Squeeze page and probably most people who get a flyer or business card from you too. The most effective Squeeze Pages make use of an "ethical bribe" to encourage the visitor to leave their name, email address and possibly phone number. The headline and any bullet boints are absolutely critical to this page as are any audio or video. These pages, like sales letters, should be tested and tested again to make sure you have the right headline and the right content/call to action. Ethical bribes can be anything from an e-course or e-book to a free dinner or vacation. Much of this depends on how much a customer is worth to you in the long run - can you sell to them over and over again once you have their contact information, is your product or service a high ticket item or a low cost item?

If you want to build your own Squeeze Pages, there is an excellent tool available online called MarketingMakeoverGenerator.Com. Just click on the title, or here, to get a $1 trial. The tool is so good that I have my staff use it to build many of our landing pages.

Here are samples of two squeeze pages (one with video):

If you are not making good use of Landing & Squeeze Pages as part of your Internet marketing then you should contact us right away at 720-201-6051, or via the form at the bottom of our Home Page. These techniques more than pay for themselves, so don't tell yourself you can't afford this - you can't afford not to be using the proper Landing Pages.
